Consistently in the middle of November and April the California Grey Whale makes its yearly relocation to Baja, Mex. at Magdelena Bay ("Mag Bay"). This is a special reward for angler taking excursions out of San Diego as I review innumerable outings spotting them in transit as well and from the angling grounds. There is a lot of profound water and nourishment around the Coronado Islands right over the outskirt in Mexican waters where the vast majority of our 3/4 day vessels head.
Taking a Whale Watch excursion is an extraordinary approach to test your ocean legs and check whether your kid or young lady is inclined to ocean disorder and preferences being out on the water. This is incredible readiness for the more extended half and three-quarter day trips also. The view is fantastic as I would like to think anyplace off San Diego's coast. You can get these excursions most days regardless of where you are staying in San Diego.
There are outings out of Helgren's Sport fishing out of Oceanside Harbor in North San Diego County further South at Seaforth Sport fishing out of Quivera Basin at Mission Bay and at H&M Landing or Pt. Loma Sport fishing on San Diego Bay close Shelter Island. H&M and Pt. Loma are nearest to the San Diego Airport.
Year round there is something going on
seaward San Diego and there aren't numerous stormy days or unpleasant oceans down here making it an astounding spot to Whale Watch or Fish practically consistently. So get the children and family started up for an extraordinary and efficient different option for a sport fishing outing that everybody can appreciate.
